Average Length of Schooling in Pati Regency Reaches 8.09 Years in 2025

The average length of schooling (ALS) for residents aged 25 and above in Pati, Central Java, reached 8.09 years in 2025.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the ALS of residents in the region was below the average for Central Java Province, which reached 8.15 years in 2025.

Pati's ALS increased by 0.27 years (3.45%) compared to the previous year's 7.82 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the ALS rose by 0.65 years (8.74%).

This ALS indicates that the average resident of Pati only attended school up to the 8th grade. However, this ALS is still below the national average ALS of 9.07 years in 2025.

Compared to 34 other regencies/cities in Central Java Province, Pati's ALS ranked 17th. Other regions in the province with the highest ALS include Salatiga City (11.49 years), while the lowest ALS was in Brebes Regency (6.61 years).
