South Sulawesi Vaccination Update as of Tuesday, October 12, 2021

As of Tuesday, October 12, 2021, South Sulawesi Province has achieved a 35.72 percent vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 2.52 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 7.06 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 21.86 percent of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 58,860 recipients. For the first dose, 58,860 people were vaccinated (123.33 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 114.38 percent or 67,320 people were vaccinated.

Public sector workers have a target of 694,480 people. The first dose vaccination reached 716,020 people (103.1 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 83.1 percent, or 577,140 people.

The elderly target is 753,920 people. For the first dose, 123,140 people have received the vaccine (16.33 percent of the target). The second dose has reached only 10.56 percent, or 79,610 people.

The target for the vulnerable general public is 4.57 million people. For the first dose, 1.28 million people have been vaccinated (28.27 percent of the target). The second dose has reached only 14.75 percent, or 662,870 people.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 978,890 people. For the first dose, 316,810 people have been vaccinated (32.36 percent of the target). The second dose has reached only 14.8 percent, or 144,850 people.
