Balangan Regency had the highest number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases, at 16.35 per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in this regency shows no improvement, having increased from 14.12 per 100,000 population/week the previous week.
A similar situation occurred in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, which recorded 2.2 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week. This figure is lower than the previous week's 2.93 per 100,000 population/week. Next is Banjarbaru City. This regency in South Kalimantan Province recorded 1.79 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week.
Tapin and Barito Kuala Regencies followed, recording 1.03 and 0.94 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases across the 34 provinces is now showing a decrease compared to the previous week's figure of 2.69 per 100,000 population/week.
