Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 112,300 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 112,300 people (163.53 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 156.92 percent or 176,220 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 1.98 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.55 million people (128.79 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 112.47 percent, or 2.23 million people.
The elderly target was 761,280 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 782,030 people (102.73 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 92.61 percent, or 705,000 people.
The general vulnerable population target was 4.54 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 6.51 million people (148.47 percent of the target). The second dose reached 118.11 percent, or 5.14 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 1 million people. For the first dose, 1.16 million people were vaccinated (116.45 percent of the target). The second dose reached 97.63 percent, or 976,410 people.
