The number of people in Central Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 1.23 million.

As of Tuesday, December 21, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Sulawesi Province has reached 57.78 percent. This figure is equivalent to 1.23 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.14 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 32.19 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 24,600 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 24,600 people (110.66 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 103.11 percent or 25,360 people were vaccinated.

Public sector workers have a target of 225,260 people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 184,240 people (81.79 percent of the target), and the second dose has reached 68.77 percent, or 154,920 people.

The elderly target is 196,630 people. For the first dose, it has been administered to 66,800 people (33.97 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 17.59 percent, or 34,600 people.

The target for the vulnerable general public is 1.37 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been administered to 726,640 people (56.6 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 27.72 percent, or 332,180 people.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target in this region is 314,610 people. For the first dose, it has been administered to 177,710 people (56.48 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 29.13 percent, or 91,660 people.
