Central Java's Star-Rated Hotel Occupancy Increased by 43.64% in November 2021

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded a 43.64% Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-rated hotels in Central Java in November 2021. This figure represents a 2.16-point increase compared to the previous month's TPK of 41.48%.

The increase in the November 2021 TPK was influenced by increases across all star-rated hotels. One-star hotels saw a 2.74-point increase, two-star hotels a 0.15-point increase, three-star hotels a 2.11-point increase, four-star hotels a 2.81-point increase, and five-star hotels a 4.27-point increase.

Compared to the same period the previous year, the November 2021 TPK increased by 5.75 points, driven by increases across all star-rated hotels.

By hotel classification, the highest TPK was recorded in four-star hotels at 54.66%, followed by five-star hotels at 50.6%, three-star hotels at 41.88%, two-star hotels at 37.26%, and the lowest at 24.67% for one-star hotels.

The average length of stay for all hotel guests in November 2021 was 1.36 nights, up from 1.32 nights in the previous month.
