The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 9.39 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's figure of 9.02 percent (data as of Saturday, November 26, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 52.5 percent are Fakfak, East Belitung, Batang, Tana Tidung, and Muna, with values of 100 percent, 88.89 percent, 56.01 percent, 55.1 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 93 regencies/cities, while 84 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, East Belitung, and Tana Tidung, with BORs of 100 percent, 88.89 percent, and 55.1 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
