Several districts/cities in Central Kalimantan province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Gunung Mas Regency, Barito Selatan Regency, and Barito Utara Regency.
As of Thursday, January 27, 2022, these three regencies had only completed 231,520 doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 321,840 vaccine recipients.
Gunung Mas Regency is ranked first among the lowest. As of yesterday, this region has completed 70.5% of its vaccination program. This is the lowest rate compared to the other 14 districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 101,500 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 287 participants. The available vaccine stock is 11,136 doses.
Next is Barito Selatan Regency, ranked second lowest. With a target of 101,230 vaccine recipients, vaccination in this region has reached 72.4%, or 73,329 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate last week was 424 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 13,604 doses.
Then there's Barito Utara Regency, ranked third lowest. With a target of 119,110 vaccine recipients, vaccination in this region has reached 72.7%, or 86,593 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate last week was 876 participants. The available vaccine stock is 8,092 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Central Kalimantan has reached 86.5%, covering 1.76 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 53.53%, covering 1.09 million vaccine recipients.
