As of today, Friday, December 10, 2021, West Papua Province has achieved a 47.52% vaccination coverage rate for the first dose. This equates to 378,910 vaccine recipients out of a target of 797,400 people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 28.54% of the target as of yesterday.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 8,564 individuals. For the first dose, 8,564 people were vaccinated (123.05% of the target), and for the second dose, 110.17% or 9,435 people were vaccinated.
For public officials, the target was 116,330 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 84,860 individuals (72.95% of the target), and the second dose reached 59.69% or 69,440 individuals.
For the elderly, the target was 50,830 individuals. The first dose was administered to 12,310 individuals (24.22% of the target). The second dose reached 13.74% or 6,984 individuals.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 493,760 individuals. The first dose was administered to 211,750 individuals (45.22% of the target). The second dose reached 23.59% or 105,960 individuals.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 127,910 individuals. The first dose was administered to 47,950 individuals (37.48% of the target). The second dose reached 19.73% or 25,240 individuals.
