By target group, the details of the vaccination program to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 189,910 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 189,910 individuals (144.51% of the target), and for the second dose, 141.78% or 269,240 individuals were vaccinated.
For public sector workers, the target was 2.07 million individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 2.75 million individuals (132.76% of the target), and the second dose reached 121.36% of the target, with 2.51 million doses administered.
For the elderly, the target was 4.34 million individuals. The first dose was administered to 3.44 million individuals (79.24% of the target). The second dose reached 65.89% of the target, with 2.86 million doses administered.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 21.64 million individuals. The first dose was administered to 17.13 million individuals (79.47% of the target). The second dose reached 67.34% of the target, with 14.51 million doses administered.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 3.59 million individuals. The first dose was administered to 3.5 million individuals (97.67% of the target). The second dose reached 87.08% of the target, with 3.12 million doses administered.
