The top five, starting from the highest, are Semarang, Metro City, Pakpak Bharat, Ciamis, and Bengkulu Utara, with ratios of 161.57 percent, 145.14 percent, 89.29 percent, 89.24 percent, and 69.48 percent, respectively.
Semarang is ranked first. The weekly percentage of people tested there is recorded at 161.57 percent. The latest positive rate is 2.57 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Metro City. The population of this region is recorded at 174,260. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly percentage of people tested is 145.14 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 2.36 percent, or higher than the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, the weekly percentage of people tested in Pakpak Bharat is recorded at 89.29 percent, 89.24 percent in Ciamis, and 69.48 percent in Bengkulu Utara.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid data recapitulation, there are 180 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher weekly percentage of people tested than before. Meanwhile, 167 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous week's testing.
