Weekly Expenditure of Jepara Regency Residents on Nuts

Household expenditure on other beans in Jepara Regency in 2023 was Rp13.94 per capita per week. This figure is higher than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp10.25 per capita per week.

The five largest components of household expenditure on beans in Jepara Regency, in descending order, were: tempeh (Rp1,839.85 per capita per week), tofu (Rp1,511.49 per capita per week), unshelled peanuts (Rp44.77 per capita per week), other beans (Rp13.94 per capita per week), and other bean products (Rp0.82 per capita per week, the lowest).

Per capita average expenditure refers to the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, including purchases, gifts, and self-produced goods, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is categorized into food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of the goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to other parties.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food consumption is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure. The per capita average consumption/expenditure figures presented in BPS publications are obtained by dividing the total consumption of all households (both consuming food and not) by the total population.

Based on region, the highest household expenditure on other beans was in Sabu Raijua Regency, and the lowest was in Tegal City. Jepara Regency ranked 387th in terms of expenditure on other beans. Meanwhile, the national average per capita expenditure on other beans was Rp245 per capita per week.
