Household expenditure on tetelan and sandung lamur in Tasikmalaya Regency in 2023 was Rp50.65 per capita per week. This figure increased compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp14.27 per capita per week.

The five largest household expenditures on meat groups in Tasikmalaya Regency, from highest to lowest, were: broiler chicken Rp4,763.96 per capita per week, free-range chicken Rp872.15 per capita per week, beef Rp782 per capita per week, other preserved meat Rp153.32 per capita per week, and the lowest expenditure was on other fresh meat at Rp1.81 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, whether from purchases, gifts, or self-production, divided by the number of household members.
