The number of people in West Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 3.03 million.

As of Friday, December 17, 2021, West Sulawesi Province has achieved a 62.56% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 3.03 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 37.34% of the target as of yesterday.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, 32,920 people were vaccinated (138.5% of the target), and for the second dose, 131.37% of the target was achieved, or 43,250 people.

For public officials, the target was 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination reached 526,360 people (150.64% of the target), and the second dose reached 134.4% of the target, with 469,630 doses administered.

For the elderly, the target was 322,470 people. The first dose was administered to 134,300 people (41.65% of the target). The second dose reached 24% of the target, or 77,380 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 3.45 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.77 million people (53.02% of the target). The second dose reached 27.26% of the target, or 881,900 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 684,190 people. The first dose was administered to 491,200 people (71.79% of the target). The second dose reached 40.37% of the target, with 276,220 doses administered.
