The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least three regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 6.47 percent. This average is up from last week's 5.15 percent, based on data from Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 54 percent are Fakfak, East Belitung, Majene, Toli-Toli, and Takalar, with values of 100 percent, 94.12 percent, 62.5 percent, 57.14 percent, and 54 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 112 regencies/cities, while 49 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, East Belitung, and Majene, with BORs of 100 percent, 94.12 percent, and 62.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
