Several districts/cities in West Kalimantan province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Mempawah Regency, Kubu Raya Regency, and Kapuas Hulu Regency.
As of yesterday's data, these three regencies have only completed 375,490 second doses out of the expected target of 830,140 vaccine recipients.
Mempawah Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, only 45.1% of the target population in this region has received their second dose, the lowest among the 14 other districts/cities. The first dose has reached 63.53%, or 236,670 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 217,120 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Mempawah last week was 1,962 participants. The current vaccine stock is 49,482 doses.
Next is Kubu Raya Regency. For the second dose, this area has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 432,690 vaccine recipients, only 45.2% or 195,580 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose has reached 67.38%, or 292,120 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Kubu Raya last week was 4,999 participants. The current vaccine stock is 31,736 doses.
Kapuas Hulu Regency is ranked third. With a target of 180,330 vaccine recipients, only 45.46% or 81,974 recipients have received their second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Kapuas Hulu last week was 1,724 participants. The current vaccine stock is 12,966 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in West Kalimantan has reached 75.1%, or 2.91 million vaccine recipients. The second dose has reached 53.61%, covering 2.08 million vaccine recipients.
