The Covid-19 vaccination program continues, including the third dose, or booster shot. According to data from the Ministry of Health, as of 6 PM WIB on June 20, 2022, 49.13 million people in Indonesia have received a booster vaccine.
This number represents 23.59% of the national Covid-19 vaccination target. The national target is 208.26 million people.
West Java still holds the top position nationally for the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, reaching 12.10 million people.
Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of people who have received the Covid-19 booster vaccine, with 1.46 million recipients. This is followed by Bandung Regency and Bekasi Regency, with 1 million and 790,750 booster vaccine recipients, respectively.
Central Java has the second-highest national booster vaccination achievement, with 6.71 million people. In this province, Semarang City has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, with 649,270 people.
East Java is in third place with 6.23 million booster vaccine recipients. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten, with 3.98 million, 2.72 million, and 2.28 million booster vaccine recipients, respectively.
