Highest Price of Slaughter Cattle in West Kalimantan in 2020

The Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the producer price of slaughtered cattle in Indonesia at Rp 14.75 million per head in 2020, a 4.64% increase compared to the previous year. The BPS measured the producer price of slaughtered cattle based on the estimated sale price of one head weighing 250 kilograms.

Based on province, the highest producer price of slaughtered cattle was in West Kalimantan, at Rp 19.92 million per head. Bangka Belitung was second, with a producer price of Rp 19.34 million per head.

The producer price of slaughtered cattle in Central Kalimantan was Rp 18.70 million per head. In Papua and North Sumatra, the producer prices were Rp 17.38 million and Rp 17.14 million per head, respectively.

Meanwhile, the lowest producer price of slaughtered cattle was in East Nusa Tenggara, at Rp 8.57 million per head. Above that was North Maluku, with a producer price of Rp 10.2 million per head.

On a monthly basis, slaughtered cattle had the highest producer price in July 2020, at Rp 15.1 million per head. Meanwhile, the lowest producer price occurred in April 2020, at Rp 14.51 million.
