According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas), in the Beef/Buffalo Food Balance Projection as of January 6, 2026, the national stock availability until Eid al-Fitr is still sufficient.

Bapanas detailed that the total projected availability of beef/buffalo meat for January-March 2026 reaches 185,400 tons.

This figure consists of the beginning of the year stock of 41,700 tons, domestic production plus the results of slaughtered beef/buffalo cattle imported over three months of 125,200 tons, and an estimated import realization of 18,500 tons from January to March.

Regarding the reference selling price (HAP) at the consumer level for beef/buffalo meat, Bapanas said it still refers to the National Food Agency Regulation No. 12 of 2024.

In that regulation, the HAP for fresh/chilled front thigh beef is Rp130,000/kg, fresh rear thigh Rp140,000/kg, frozen front thigh Rp105,000/kg, and frozen buffalo meat Rp80,000/kg.
