Current Food Prices in Jakarta, DKI: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (25/10/2024) at 10:15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase, jumping Rp4,490 (10.87%) to Rp45,790 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp4,320 (8.51%) to Rp46,420 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp36,150 per kg (up 8.27%)
7. Mackerel: Rp34,270 per kg (down 3.14%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,020 per kg (down 3.19%)
9. Curly Red Chilies: Rp31,580 per kg (down 7.23%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,620 per kg (down 0.11%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,640 per kg (up 0.43%)
