The Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo) reported that domestic wholesale sales of cars reached 99,986 units in September 2022. This figure represents a 3.13% increase compared to the previous month (month-on-month/MoM).
Toyota remained the largest contributor, with sales reaching 33,449 units, equivalent to 33.45% of total national wholesale car sales in September 2022.
Daihatsu ranked second with sales of 18,781 units, followed by Honda with 13,374 units.
Mitsubishi Motors, which had experienced a slowdown in sales, was overtaken by Suzuki. In September 2022, Suzuki ranked fourth with total domestic wholesale car sales of 7,651 units, while Mitsubishi Motors ranked fifth with sales of 6,056 units.
