LRT Jabodebek has served 47.37 million passengers since it began operations on August 28, 2023, until October 12, 2025.
In its initial operational period in 2023, LRT Jabodebek only served 4.56 million passengers. Throughout 2024, the volume increased to 21.05 million passengers.
Meanwhile, from the beginning of this year until mid-October 2025, the LRT has transported 21.75 million passengers, which is more than last year.
"This growth is certainly inseparable from government support through subsidies, which keeps LRT Jabodebek fares affordable, while also ensuring modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly services," LRT Jabodebek wrote on its official Instagram account on Sunday (October 12, 2025).
As of October 2025, the average number of LRT Jabodebek users on weekdays reached 96,841. This figure surged by 36% compared to 2024, making it the highest since 2023.
According to Anne Purba, Vice President of Public Relations at PT KAI, the increase in LRT Jabodebek users has also fostered new economic activity.
"LRT Jabodebek provides easy access, saves travel time, and strengthens economic connectivity between the city center and its buffer zones," Anne said in a press statement, as reported by Katadata.co.id (October 12, 2025).
