Indonesia Ranks Among the Top Five Pencil and Crayon Producers Globally

Indonesia is one of the world's leading exporters of pencils and crayons, ranking fourth after China, Germany, and Brazil. Indonesian pencils and crayons have penetrated export markets in more than 35 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan. Indonesia's annual pencil and crayon exports reach US$90.6 million, or approximately Rp 1.27 trillion (at an exchange rate of Rp 14,000/US$).

According to *Worldatlas.com*, China is the world's largest producer and exporter of pencils and crayons. China's pencil and crayon exports reach US$729 million, or approximately Rp 10.21 trillion. These exports account for 44% of the total global pencil and crayon export value.

Germany is the world's second-largest exporter of pencils and crayons, with annual export revenue reaching US$166 million, or approximately Rp 2.32 trillion. Brazil ranks third, with pencil and crayon exports valued at US$105 million, or approximately Rp 1.47 trillion.
