15 Main Export Destinations of Indonesia's Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry in January 2026

According to the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), the value of Indonesia's non-oil and gas processing industry exports in January 2026 amounted to US$18.51 billion.

This figure plummeted by 12.58% compared to December 2025 (month-to-month/m-to-m), but strengthened by 8.19% year-on-year (yoy).

Kemenperin explained that China remains the main export destination for Indonesia's non-oil processing industry, followed by the United States (US), India, Japan, and Thailand.

Here are the 15 countries with the largest value of Indonesia's non-oil processing industry exports in January 2026:

5. Thailand: US$787.92 million

According to Kemenperin, exports to China in January 2026 surged by 23.33% (yoy), the US rose by 9.38% (yoy), India soared by 51.69% (yoy), Japan increased by 0.51% (yoy), and Thailand grew by 9.46% (yoy).

Based on the sector, the food industry became the largest foreign exchange contributor from non-oil processing industry exports in January 2026, with an export value of US$4.30 billion.

"The value of exports from the food industry sector in January 2026 was dominated by palm oil commodities amounting to US$2.69 billion, or contributing 62.63%," explained Kemenperin in its report.
