Indonesia's trade balance with the British Virgin Islands experienced a deficit of US$30,000 in 2020. This trade deficit decreased by 99.58% compared to the previous year's balance, which was recorded at US$-7,189,000.
The improvement in the trade balance, according to Trademap data, was supported by Indonesia's export value, which reached US$1.14 million. However, Indonesia's imports from the British Virgin Islands in 2020 were higher than exports, reaching US$1.17 million.
Indonesia's exports to the British Virgin Islands have been declining over the past year. The previous year's export value was US$2.1 million.
Imports, according to Trademap data, decreased by 87.42% compared to the previous year, which was recorded at US$9.28 million.
