According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia's export value during January-September 2025 amounted to US$209.81 billion, an increase of 8.14% compared to the cumulative period of the previous year (cumulative-to-cumulative/ctc).

The contribution of non-oil and gas exports continued to dominate with US$199.77 billion, soaring by 9.57% (ctc).

This value consisted of manufacturing industry exports at US$167.85 billion, mining and other exports at US$26.73 billion, and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries at US$5.19 billion.

According to BPS, among the top 10 non-oil and gas export commodities by value, all experienced an increase, except for mineral fuels, which plummeted by 20.39% (ctc).

“Meanwhile, the commodity with the largest increase was animal/vegetable fats and oils, amounting to US$6.90 billion (37.36%),” BPS explained in its report.

In contrast to non-oil and gas exports, Indonesia's oil and gas exports, however, fell by 14.09% (ctc) to US$10.03 billion.

This value originated from natural gas exports at US$5.53 billion, oil products at US$3.31 billion, and crude oil at US$1.20 billion.

Crude oil exports experienced the largest decline, down by 28.06% (ctc), followed by natural gas, which plunged by 16.22% (ctc), and oil products, which decreased by 3.17% (ctc).
