The majority of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in July 2023 were from Malaysia, with 156,720 visits (13.96%), followed by Australia with 143,060 visits (12.74%), Singapore with 109,850 visits (9.78%), China with 84,960 visits (7.57%), and Timor Leste with 55,990 visits (4.99%).

Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia from January to July 2023 reached 6.31 million, a 196.85% increase compared to the same period last year. From January to July 2022, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia was only 2.12 million.
