Top Downloaded Dating Apps Globally in 2023: Tinder Takes the Crown

According to app research firm Business of Apps, Tinder was the most downloaded online dating app globally in 2023. The US-based app was downloaded 55 million times during that period.

Tinder is a subsidiary of Match Group, a technology company headquartered in Dallas, USA, which also oversees other popular online dating apps such as Hinge, Match, Meetic, OkCupid, Pairs, and others.

LitMatch came in second, with 34 million downloads worldwide.

The report mentions that LitMatch experienced a significant increase in downloads in Southeast Asia last year, but Business of Apps did not specify the amount.

Bumble followed in third place, with 30 million downloads in 2023. This US-based app also oversees other online dating apps such as Badoo, Fruitz, and Official.

Badoo was also among the most downloaded online dating apps last year, with a total of 23 million downloads.
