According to a Populix survey, 82% of Indonesian internet users reported exposure to online gambling advertisements in the past six months. Of these, 63% said they see online gambling ads every time they access the internet, on both websites and social media.

This survey, conducted from November 21-28, 2023, involved 864 respondents who had seen online gambling ads in the past six months. Respondents were spread across various regions in Indonesia, with 52% male and 48% female.

The majority of respondents were from Java (80%), followed by Sumatra (11%), and other islands (9%). By age, respondents were predominantly aged 17-25 (45%) and 26-35 (21%).
