According to Semrush data, the number of visits to major e-commerce sites in Indonesia tended to increase in July 2025.
This increase in visits occurred on Shopee Indonesia (Shopee.co.id), Tokopedia (Tokopedia.com), and Blibli (Blibli.com). Visits to Lazada Indonesia (Lazada.co.id), however, decreased, although not significantly.
Here's the data on the number of visits to major e-commerce sites in Indonesia in July 2025:
1. Shopee Indonesia (Shopee.co.id): 133.1 million visits, up 5.6% (mtm)
In July 2025, the Shopee Indonesia site received 133.1 million visits from around the world. This figure increased by 7.1 million visits or 5.6% compared to the previous month (month-to-month/mtm).
Shopee also remained the e-commerce site with the most visitors in Indonesia, surpassing competitors such as Tokopedia, Lazada, and Blibli.
In July 2025, Shopee launched various promotional programs, such as the Shopee 7.7 twin date promo, Shopee 7.7 Mall 100% ORI Sale, and ShopeePay promotions with total prizes of millions of rupiah and shopping discounts at various merchants.
Shopee also ran a "Liga Kreator Youtube Shopping" promotion with prizes totaling hundreds of millions of rupiah, which ran from July 14 to August 10, 2025.
2. Tokopedia (Tokopedia.com): 65.2 million visits, up 3.7% (mtm)
The Tokopedia site received 65.2 million visits in July 2025. This increased by 2.4 million visits or 3.7% (mtm).
In July 2025, Tokopedia held a 7.7 twin date promo that ran from June 27 to July 7, 2024. This period featured various promotions, ranging from 95% flash sales, direct discounts of Rp 100,000, to free shipping.
Tokopedia also ran various promotional programs in collaboration with banks, such as offering discounts for Bank Mega credit card users, and price reductions and installment interest for BSI Hasanah Card users.
3. Blibli (Blibli.com): 57.4 million visits, up 273.2% (mtm)
The Blibli site received 57.4 million visits in July 2025, an increase of approximately 42 million visits or a surge of 273.2% (mtm).
This surge allowed Blibli to overtake Lazada, which usually held third place.
In July 2025, Blibli launched various promotional programs, such as the "Festival 14th BliBli #NoBlaBla," and "Gadget Day" on July 17, offering discounts of up to Rp 1 million for the purchase of certain gadgets.
They also ran promotional collaborations, such as discounts for blu users (BCA mobile banking application), AstraPay users, Bank Mega credit cards, and Line Bank debit cards.
4. Lazada Indonesia (Lazada.co.id): 32.4 million visits, down 0.08% (mtm)
In July 2025, the Lazada Indonesia site received 32.4 million visits. This figure decreased by 26,200 visits or decreased by 0.08% (mtm).
That month, Lazada held the "#Lazada77SaleID" promotion, which ran from July 6-9, 2025, offering discounts of up to 85% and bonus vouchers with a maximum value of Rp 500,000 for the purchase of certain branded products.
They also conducted promotional collaborations, such as offering discounts for BSI Hasanah Card users, BNI Mastercard debit cards, and Bank Mandiri credit cards for a limited period.
