According to a JakPat report, 34% of approximately 2,000 surveyed Indonesians sell products on e-commerce platforms. "Most of these sellers consider it a side job. Respondents were comprised of 40% millennials, 40% Gen Z, and 20% Gen X.

The survey was conducted online on March 19-20, 2024, through the Jakpat application, with a margin of error below 5%.
