Germany scored three goals: two by Paris Brunner (9' and 58') and one by Max Moerstedt (69'). Argentina's goals were all scored by Agustin Ruberto in a hat-trick (36', 45+4', and 90+7').
Argentina decided to change goalkeepers before the penalty shootout. Franco Villalba replaced Jeremias Florentin.

In the fifth penalty, Paris Brunner (97') scored again for Germany, resulting in a final score of 4-2 for Germany, securing their place in the final of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
