Kompas Poll: Prabowo-Sandi Lead in Jakarta and West Java + Banten

Presidential/Vice Presidential candidate pair number 02, Prabowo-Sandi, led in West Java + Banten (Jabar + Banten) and DKI Jakarta one month before the 2019 presidential election. Meanwhile, pair number 01, Jokowi-Ma'ruf, led in East Java (Jatim) and Central Java + Yogyakarta (Jateng + DIY).

Based on the latest Kompas survey results released on Wednesday (20/3/2019), the electability of the Prabowo-Sandi pair in Jabar + Banten reached 47.7%, surpassing their competitor, Jokowi-Ma'ruf, who only achieved 42.1%. Similarly, in DKI Jakarta, pair number 02 led with an electability of 47.5%, while their competitor, pair number 01, only achieved 36.3%.

However, the electability of the Prabowo-Sandi pair lagged in East Java, achieving only 27.8% while Jokowi-Ma'ruf reached 57.1%. Similarly, in Jateng + DIY, pair number 02 lagged with an electability of only 18.4%, while pair number 01 achieved 61.6%. As a result, the total electability of the Prabowo-Sandi pair on the island of Java reached only 34%, while Jokowi-Ma'ruf reached 51.3%.
