Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo Summoned by the KPK, How Much is His Wealth?

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo to investigate alleged corruption within his ministry.

"(Syahrul Yasin Limpo) is scheduled to appear tomorrow, Friday (June 16, 2023), at 9:30 AM Western Indonesian Time (WIB), at the KPK Red and White Building," said KPK Head of Public Relations Ali Fikri on Thursday (June 15, 2023).

According to Ali, the KPK has been investigating alleged corruption in the Ministry of Agriculture since the beginning of 2023. This investigation began with public reports and was followed up by the KPK with document examination and further investigation.

He also stated that the KPK has summoned several individuals deemed knowledgeable about the case under investigation.

According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN) data, Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo's assets have not increased significantly over the past four years.

During the 2019-2021 period, Minister Syahrul had total assets of approximately Rp19 billion. In 2022, this increased by approximately Rp442.5 million, or 2.26%, to Rp20.05 billion.

In 2022, Minister Syahrul owned several plots of land and buildings located in Gowa and Makassar, South Sulawesi, with a total value of Rp11.3 billion.

He also owns 6 cars and 1 Harley Davidson motorcycle with a total value of Rp1.47 billion, other movable assets worth Rp1.14 billion, and cash/cash equivalents of Rp6.11 billion.

Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo is not recorded as owning securities, other assets, or having any debts.
