Based on a survey released by Charta Politika Indonesia, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) ranks highest as the most trusted state institution by the public, with a 90% approval rating among respondents. This comprises 12% who responded "strongly trust" and 78% who responded "trust".
The Presidency/President holds the second position with 82% approval, including 9% who responded "strongly trust" and 73% who responded "trust".
The Supreme Court follows in third place with 81%, with 4% responding "strongly trust" and 77% responding "trust".
The Constitutional Court is ranked fourth with 80%, consisting of 4% "strongly trust" and 77% "trust". The Attorney General's Office is fifth with 78%, comprising 4% "strongly trust" and 74% "trust".
The least trusted state institution is the House of Representatives (DPR), with only 62% approval. This is broken down into 3% "strongly trust" and 59% "trust".
This survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,220 respondents spread across 34 provinces from May 2-7, 2023.
Sample selection used a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of approximately 2.82% and a 95% confidence level.
