This is the Capacity of the 2023 U-17 World Cup Stadiums in Indonesia

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) have agreed that the 2023 U-17 World Cup will be held in four Indonesian stadiums:

1. Jakarta International Stadium (JIS);
2. Si Jalak Harupat Stadium;
3. Manahan Stadium; and
4. Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium.

"From eight stadiums, after yesterday's meeting with FIFA, we finally agreed on four. Why four? We also considered logistics; flying here and there, all that has to be taken into account," said Erick Thohir, the General Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), as reported by Republika on Monday (8/8/2023).

Of the four U-17 World Cup stadiums, JIS has the largest seating capacity, at 82,000. This makes JIS the stadium with the largest capacity in Indonesia.

JIS will also host the opening match of the U-17 World Cup, which will be held on November 10, 2023.

Next is Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya, with a seating capacity of 50,000.

Then there's Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung, which can accommodate 27,000 spectators, and Manahan Stadium in Solo, with a capacity of 20,000.

Although Manahan Stadium has the smallest capacity compared to the other three stadiums, it will host the closing match of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

This year's U-17 World Cup will take place from November 10 to December 2, 2023. Twenty-four U-17 national football teams from around the world will compete in Indonesia for the championship title.
