The General Election Commission (KPU) has appointed 12 panelists for the presidential candidate (capres) debate to be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM WIB.
In this final 2024 Presidential Election debate, Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo will exchange ideas on social welfare, culture, education, information technology, health, employment, human resources, and inclusion.
"We have received confirmation of the willingness of 12 panelists who will be involved in formulating questions for the upcoming fifth debate, in accordance with the themes we have set," said August Mellaz, a KPU member in a statement, as reported by *Katadata*, Wednesday (January 31, 2024).
He mentioned that these panelists will be quarantined two days before the debate begins, starting Friday, February 2, 2024.
Of the names appointed by the KPU, the majority of panelists are academics from various Indonesian state universities. In addition, there are several practitioners from civil society organizations.

Academics:
* Aminuddin Syam (Professor, Faculty of Public Health, Hasanuddin University)
* Asep Saepudin Jahar (Rector, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta 2023-2027)
* Bahruddin (Initiator of the Qaryah Thayyibah Learning Community and Member of the National Accreditation Board for Early Childhood, Basic, and Secondary Education)
* Damar Juniarto (Academic at UPN Veteran Jakarta)
* Emeritus PM Laksono (Professor of Anthropology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University)
* Imam Prasodjo (Sociologist, University of Indonesia)
* Onno Widodo Purbo (Information Technology Expert/Vice Rector, Institut Teknologi Tangerang Selatan)
* Tukiman Tarunasayoga (Lecturer, Postgraduate Program in Development Extension, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta)
* Vina Adriany (Professor in Early Childhood Education and Gender, University of Education Indonesia)
Practitioners:
* Reni Kusumowardhani (Psychologist, Indonesian Psychological Association)

The presidential debate will be moderated by two presenters from TV One, Andromeda Mercury and Dwi Anggia. The fifth debate is organized by TV One, ANTV, and NET TV.
