Kompas Research and Development surveyed public confidence levels regarding the realization of 36 programs in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration.
Generally, these programs received high public confidence levels, with over 70% expressing confidence.
The lowest confidence level was for the program to provide 3 million houses per year, with only 60.4% of respondents expressing belief in its feasibility. Meanwhile, 34.6% were doubtful or unconvinced that this program could be implemented.
According to Kompas Research and Development, public doubt regarding this program is justifiable due to numerous challenges related to supply, financing, and target identification.
"Concerns also arise considering that the one-million-houses-per-year program initiated by President Jokowi failed to reach its target," wrote Kompas Research and Development researchers in their report on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Other programs with the lowest confidence levels include the "clean-up" of correctional facilities (LPs) from illegal practices such as drug trafficking, bribery, and others.
Then there are programs for eradicating online gambling, preventing state revenue leakage, and strengthening the function of cooperatives, as shown in the graph.
"High or low confidence in the realization of these new government programs will certainly be a challenge and 'homework' for the relevant ministries in the Red and White Cabinet," wrote Kompas Research and Development researchers.
This Kompas Research and Development survey involved 1,000 respondents randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method across 38 Indonesian provinces.
Data collection was conducted from January 4-10, 2025, through face-to-face interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 3.10% with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
