Survey Indicator: 76% of Indonesian Citizens Satisfied with PSSI Performance

An Indonesian Political Indicator survey reveals that a majority, or 76.1%, of respondents expressed satisfaction with the performance of the All-Indonesia Football Association (PSSI).

This figure comprises 15.6% who were very satisfied and 60.5% who were fairly satisfied.

Indikator Politik Director Burhanuddin Muhtadi stated that the level of respondent satisfaction with PSSI's performance under Erick Thohir is the highest compared to previous administrations. "We previously asked during the time of Mr. Iwan Bule, the previous PSSI chairman, and satisfaction levels were never this high," said Burhanuddin in an online presentation of the survey on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Meanwhile, 10.2% expressed dissatisfaction, consisting of 9.1% who were somewhat dissatisfied and 1.1% who were completely dissatisfied. Furthermore, 13.7% of respondents were unsure or did not answer.

The Indikator survey also found that 77.9% of respondents believe that the condition of national football has improved in the past year. 8.5% stated there was no change, and 1.3% assessed it as worse.

The survey involved 1,220 respondents spread across Indonesia, with criteria of being over 17 years old or married. Respondents were selected using a multistage random sampling method.

Data collection was conducted from December 22-28, 2024, through face-to-face interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
