South Jakarta is the center of padel sports in the DKI Jakarta Province.
According to the sports company Core & Court, there are 34 padel clubs already operating in South Jakarta as of 2025.
There are also 61 padel clubs that have not yet started operations, as they are still in the construction phase or undergoing other operational preparations.
These padel clubs are commercial venues that provide several padel courts, often equipped with supporting facilities such as cafes, shops, and changing rooms.
The number of padel clubs in South Jakarta is the highest compared to its neighboring regions, both those already operating and those not yet operational, as can be seen in the chart.
"South Jakarta is an intersection point of high income, high prices, and high density of development," said Core & Court in the Indonesia Padel Report 2025.
In addition to excelling in terms of infrastructure, South Jakarta is also leading in terms of player participation.
"The growth center of padel clubs is located in South Jakarta, where players enter an advanced phase by pursuing coaching, structured training, and competitive matches," said Core & Court.
