Pramono Anung Runs for Jakarta Gubernatorial Election: His Wealth Revealed

Pramono Anung Wibowo registered as a gubernatorial candidate for Jakarta on Wednesday (August 28, 2024). He was nominated by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), with Rano Karno as his running mate for deputy governor.

"Alhamdulillah, today the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno candidate pair has been officially registered with the DKI Jakarta KPU," said Pramono at the KPU building, as reported by CNN Indonesia, Wednesday (August 28, 2024).

The Cabinet Secretary stated that he had sought permission from President Joko Widodo to participate in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"We truly want to make Jakarta more friendly, serving Jakarta for everyone. There's no need for a grand tagline because I cycle to GBK every week, so I know the areas that need improvement," said Pramono.

According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), at the end of 2023, Pramono had assets worth Rp104.28 billion.

The majority of his assets are in the form of securities worth Rp37.25 billion.

Furthermore, Pramono is recorded as owning 9 plots of land and buildings valued at Rp35.42 billion. His properties are spread across Bogor, South Jakarta, Bekasi, Kediri, Sleman, and Buleleng.

He also possesses other movable assets worth Rp19.13 billion, cash and cash equivalents of Rp11.08 billion, and transportation assets of Rp1.38 billion consisting of three vehicles: a 2007 Mini Cooper, a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Jeep, and a 2023 Toyota Alphard.

Until the end of 2023, this prospective Jakarta gubernatorial candidate was reported to have no debts.
