The overall respondent demographics consisted of 48% male and 52% female. By generation, 51% were Gen Z and 49% were Millennials.

Respondent age breakdown: 16-19 years (14%); 20-25 years (22%); 26-29 years (14%); 30-35 years (22%); 36-39 years (14%); and 40-45 years (13%).

The sample was taken from Jabodetabek and South Tangerang; Java (including West Java, East Java, Central Java, Banten (excluding Tangerang and South Tangerang), and Yogyakarta); and outside Java (including major cities in Bali, Medan, Padang, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Bandar Lampung, Samarinda, Balikpapan, Manado, Makassar, and Jayapura). The online survey was conducted via the Jakpat application from April 22-28, 2024, with a margin of error below 5%.
