The General Election Commission (KPU) has ratified the vote results from 33 provinces for the 2024 Presidential Election.
This ratification was announced on the 19th day of the National-Level Vote Count Recapitulation Plenary Meeting on Sunday (17/3/2024).
Currently, the Prabowo-Gibran presidential and vice-presidential ticket holds a significant lead with 76,888,902 votes from 33 provinces.
Anies-Muhaimin received 31,118,204 votes, and Ganjar-Mahfud received 23,461,344 votes.
The 33 provinces whose votes have been ratified by the KPU as of Sunday (17/3/2024) are:
1. Yogyakarta Special Region
2. Gorontalo
3. Central Kalimantan
4. Bali
5. Lampung
6. Bangka Belitung
7. West Kalimantan
8. South Sumatra
9. Central Java
10. Jakarta Special Capital Region
11. Riau Islands
12. East Nusa Tenggara
13. North Kalimantan
14. South Kalimantan
15. Banten
16. East Kalimantan
17. Southeast Sulawesi
18. East Java
19. West Sulawesi
20. Riau
21. West Papua
22. North Sulawesi
23. Bengkulu
24. West Sumatra
25. South Sulawesi
26. Aceh
27. West Nusa Tenggara
28. South Papua
29. Jambi
30. North Maluku
31. North Sumatra
32. Central Sulawesi
33. Central Papua.
The provinces or electoral districts whose votes have not yet been ratified as of Sunday (17/3/2024) are:
1. West Java
2. Papua
3. Highland Papua
4. Southwest Papua
5. Maluku
6. Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
KPU member Idham Holik stated that the complete results of the 2024 Presidential Election will be determined on Monday (18/3/2024).
"In principle, when everything is finished, it will be immediately determined by the Chairperson of the KPU RI," said Idham, as reported by Antara, Sunday (17/3/2024).
Idham also said that the KPU is considering determining the election results on Tuesday morning (19/3/2024) if the recapitulation conducted on Monday (18/3/2024) cannot be completed.
According to KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the national vote recapitulation for the 2024 General Election is scheduled to be completed no later than March 20, 2024.
