Survey: 67.4% of Indonesian Citizens Satisfied with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's Performance

A Poltracking survey shows that 67.4% of respondents were satisfied with the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's administration over the past two years. Specifically, 5.6% of respondents were very satisfied and 61.8% were quite satisfied.

Meanwhile, 27.8% of respondents were dissatisfied with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance. This breaks down to 22.9% who were dissatisfied and 4.9% who were very dissatisfied. A further 4.8% of respondents stated they did not know or did not answer.

Poltracking also conducted separate surveys on Jokowi and Ma'ruf's performance. The results show that 68.4% of respondents were satisfied with Jokowi's performance. This includes 63.1% who were quite satisfied and 5.3% who were very satisfied.

28.2% of respondents said they were dissatisfied with Jokowi's performance. 3.4% of respondents stated they did not know or did not answer.

Regarding Ma'ruf's performance, 60.3% of respondents were satisfied. This comprises 56.3% who were quite satisfied and 4% who were very satisfied.

Meanwhile, 34.1% of respondents were dissatisfied with Ma'ruf's performance. The remaining 5.6% of respondents answered "don't know/didn't answer".

Public satisfaction with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance was highest in the areas of politics and national stability, at 64.1%. This was followed by social, cultural, and health sectors, at 60.5% and 60% respectively.

Public satisfaction with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance in law enforcement was the lowest, at only 52.8%.

Poltracking surveyed 1,220 respondents from October 3-10, 2021, using a multistage random sampling method. The margin of error in this survey is 2.8% with a 95% confidence level.
