Twice, the K-Pop Girl Group with the Highest Physical Album Sales

Based on data from the Gaon Music Chart, Twice is the K-Pop female artist with the highest physical album sales. This nine-member group has sold 7.16 million copies since their debut in 2015.

Next is S.E.S, a female group that debuted in 1997, with the second highest physical album sales. S.E.S has sold 3.56 million copies of physical albums.

Following them, Girls' Generation sold 2.84 million copies of physical albums, and Blackpink sold 2.76 million copies. Soloist BoA sold 2.22 million copies.

IZ*ONE, a group that only lasted 2.5 years, is included in this top 10 list. This group, formed through the Produce 48 talent audition, managed to sell 2.09 million copies in that short time.

Gaon recorded K-Pop physical album sales reaching 195.97 million from its first recording in 2010 to 2021. Sales of albums by female artists only account for 18.5% of the total sales.
