A JakPat survey shows that 81% of Indonesian Gen Z and millennial respondents enjoy attending music concerts.

2. Stress relief: 46%

3. Experiencing a live performance: 39%

4. Seeing a favorite musician perform: 37%

5. Invited by others (friends, family, etc.): 26%

6. Supporting a favorite musician: 21%

7. Interacting with a favorite musician: 14%

8. Haven't watched a concert in a while: 12%

9. Showing off on social media: 8%

10. Celebrating a special occasion: 7%

The survey involved 1,658 respondents across Java and Bali, narrowed down to 1,323 respondents who reported enjoying music concerts.

Overall, the respondents consisted of 51% male and 49% female. By age group, 49% were millennials (29-44 years old) and 51% were Gen Z (15-28 years old).

The online survey was conducted via the Jakpat application from August 15-17, 2025, with a margin of error below 5%.
