PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk recorded a profit attributable to the parent company of Rp15.38 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. The figure grew by 16.57% year-on-year (yoy).
However, Bank Mandiri's net interest, sharia, and insurance income was adjusted by 2.3% (yoy) to Rp25.34 trillion in this period.
In the first quarter of 2026, this listed company with the code BMRI disbursed loans worth Rp1.530 trillion, an increase of 17.4% (yoy).
This loan growth was accompanied by maintained asset quality, with a non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 0.98% for the bank alone, and a coverage ratio of 245%.
"We also focused this loan growth on boosting real economic activities, especially in the productive and labor-intensive sectors," said Bank Mandiri's CEO Riduan, as reported by Katadata.co.id on Tuesday (21/4/2026).
In terms of funding, Bank Mandiri's Third-Party Funds (DPK) grew by 21.1% (yoy) to Rp 1.675 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
By the end of March 2026, BMRI had assets worth Rp2.432 trillion, a decrease of 14.04% compared to the end of December 2025, which reached Rp2.829 trillion.
