Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), as of June or the end of the first semester of 2025, there are 957 issuers in the domestic capital market.
Of this total, 47 issuers operate in the banking industry, with a total asset value of Rp11,370 trillion.
Among the group of bank issuers, the one with the largest assets is PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, a bank with state-owned enterprise (SOE) status.
In June 2025, Bank Mandiri's assets reached Rp2,514 trillion, equivalent to 22% of the total assets of bank issuers on the national stock exchange.
The second rank is also held by an SOE bank, namely PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI. In the middle of this year, their assets amounted to Rp2,106 trillion, equivalent to 19% of the total assets of bank issuers on the exchange.
Then, in third place is a private bank, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or BCA. In June 2025, BCA's assets reached Rp1,504 trillion, equivalent to 13% of the total assets of bank issuers on the exchange.
