What is the transaction value for Bank Mandiri Mobile Banking?

PT Bank Mandiri Tbk's mobile banking transaction value in the first quarter of 2017 reached Rp 85 trillion, a 53.7 percent increase from Rp 55.3 trillion in the same quarter of the previous year. Meanwhile, transactions via the internet banking service of this largest-asset bank reached Rp 37.3 trillion in the same quarter, a 3.3 percent increase from Rp 36.1 trillion in the same quarter of the previous year.

ATM transaction value in the first quarter of this year reached Rp 271.2 trillion, also increasing by 14 percent compared to the same quarter of 2016. This figure still dominates Bank Mandiri's service transactions; however, mobile banking and internet banking transactions experienced very rapid growth.

Compared to the fourth quarter of 2009, Bank Mandiri's mobile banking transactions have surged nearly 4,000 percent, while internet banking transactions grew by 425 percent. ATM transactions only grew by 185 percent. Last weekend, the integration of internet banking and mobile banking services experienced problems, resulting in the temporary suspension of Mandiri Online services. Some customers even experienced fund losses due to the integration of these two service systems.
