Currently, many digital applications are available for the public to invest in, whether it's stocks, gold, mutual funds, or cryptocurrencies.

According to a survey by the public opinion polling agency JakPat, the majority, or 63% of respondents, prefer investment applications registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Furthermore, 58% of respondents considered ease of use and payment methods offered by the application.

Many respondents also chose applications based on the ease of converting assets to cash, the trustworthy reputation of the application company, the minimum deposit amount for account opening, and affordable asset trading fees.

Only a small percentage of respondents chose applications based on media advertising, recommendations from close friends, or influencer promotions, with percentages as shown in the graph.

The JakPat survey also found that gold and jewelry are the most commonly held investments by respondents, at 48%.

Respondents holding mutual fund investments totaled 34%, deposits and precious metal/gold savings each at 29%, cryptocurrency at 27%, and stocks at 26%.

This survey was conducted on 2,411 respondents across Indonesia with a margin of error below 3%. The online survey was conducted through the JakPat application from July 4-6, 2022.
